Counselling in Wanaka with Couples Adults and Adolescents

About Me

In me, you will find a calm, strong, and steady supporter.

I offer easy connection, warmth, and mutual respect and bring a sense of safety to my practice, alongside large doses of understanding and awareness.

In my past life, I was a police officer for 15 years with NZ Police, holding various roles in Auckland, Wellington, and Wanaka before moving into health clinic management locally.

My background gave me an overview of our communities and the range of issues we face. But, amongst all the (sometimes) chaos, I saw the positive effect humans can have on each other, given the time and space.

Over the years, it became clear our human needs are the same across the board. No matter what space we fill, no matter what shape, size, or wealth we might have or don’t have, our emotional needs remain the same. And, the effects of not having those met? Well, they also remain the same.

Designed to meet you as exactly who you are and where you’re at, it’s this that informs my work: People are important. You are important.

Everyone is welcome in my practice, come as you are.

I hold a Bachelor of Applied Counselling and as a registered member of NZAC, I work alongside the NZAC Code of Ethics and engage in supervision and professional development.
